Description
GGKit is the latest update to the kit made by 3DRap to convert the factory pedals into a peripheral featured with the feeling of the more expensive which can be found on the market. 3DRap has condensed in the GGKit all the know-how in terms of hardware and software acquired starting from the creation of the MODs up to the more elaborate peripherals such as the nGASa pedal board.
The KIT has been improved in its plastic parts, while the metal parts have been painted with a black industrial paint, for a renewed aesthetic finish.
The fundamental keys with which GGKit was conceived have always marked the philosophy of 3DRap:
- Feeling
- Realism
- Customization
Thanks to the features of the hardware, software and electronics, LogiKit allows to reach the perfection of the feelings due to the customization of signals and mechanics. Pedals customization is essential to get the best lap time.
3DRap allows you to have a working brake with a load cell but also to be able to manage it thanks to the use of hardware and software developed ad hoc for the correct management of the signal. The signal is high-resolution with 16-bit sampling, to increase the feeling and the management of trail bracking (a technique used by pilots to dose the last phases of the braking manoeuvre).
The maximum force of the brake pedal is approximately 30 [kgf], and it is possible to modulate it to your liking thanks to the use of a pair of interchangeable elastomers supplied, designed and engineered ad hoc:
Hard elastomer: allows for a stiffer brake pedal, with less travel; it is suitable for formula cars equipped with a mechanical drive pump;
Soft elastomer: allows the brake travel to be slightly increased, improving modulation on rally or GT category cars, usually equipped with power brakes.
Additionally, GUI adjustments allow you to further fine-tune the feel of the load cell.
With GGKit, the native potentiometers are replaced by hall effect sensors on the throttle and clutch pedals thanks to a harness created ad hoc by 3DRap; unlike the common potentiometer, the hall effect sensor does not undergo any wear mechanism thanks to the absence of physical contact between the moving parts, which is why it is much more reliable over time.
The GGKit electronic board guarantee a high resolution of the signal from the hall effect sensors which use 12-bit sampling to improve the modulation during throttle and clutch operation. The activation precision is guaranteed by the design of the components of the kit involved in the operation of the hall effect sensor and by the autotune managed by the firmware developed by 3DRap.
- Plates for adjusting the inclination of the pedals and sliding in depth;
- Extension for the pads to lengthen the lever reaching the ergonomic set-up of the PRO pedal sets;
- Pair of interchangeable elastomers for brake pedal, to modify hardness and stroke (Medium and Hard Elastomer);
- Pair of interchangeable elastomers for the clutch pedal (they are the same shared with the brake but interchangeable with the clutch), to modify hardness and stroke (Medium and Hard Elastomer) plus spacers to preload the spring and enhance the effect;
- Elastomer and end-of-stroke pads to modify the hardness and physical travel of the accelerator pedal;
- Kinematics on bearings to create the double detachment effect on the clutch pedal (it is a skill of the PRO pedal sets);
- 12-bit hall-effect sensors in place of native throttle and clutch potentiometers;
- 16-bit load cell instead of native potentiometer;
- Proprietary Software GUI for managing signals on single axes;
- Proprietary electronic board and firmware.
Compatibility
- PC (Windows);
- Logitech wheelbase (via connector DB9);
- Thrustmaster wheelbase (T500 exluded) (via connector RJ);
- Fanatec wheelbase (via connector RJ).
The console version of GGKIT is compatible with Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and XBox, through Logitech, Thrustmaster or Fanatec wheelbases in place of DB9, or RJ pedals connector. Also on G Pro Logitech base through Logitech Racing Adapter.
The GGKIT pedal set represents the best on the market for your base in console driving simulations. This way you can maximize your performance on the track with the Logitech, Thrustmaster or Fanatec wheelbase.
Note for G25 / G27 bases: external hub can be necessary for these bases to ensure the proper functions.
The GGKit electronic board automatically calibrate the pedal signals when switched on; in addition, through the dedicated software is possible to completely customize the character of each pedal by acting on the parameters made available by the GUI. This will allow you to get the perfect response depending on the car you choose to drive.
In addition to the mechanical customizations and regulations, thanks to the interface you have the possibility to shape your own experience with GGkit to face any challenge.

Is it possible to use GGkit without the original steering wheel?
Yes, it is possible by connecting the device to Windows via the supplied USB cable: in this way it is always possible to use GGKit independently of the original steering wheel thanks to the proprietary electronics provided by 3DRap; Furthermore, on Windows it is possible to use the 3DRap GGKit GUI user interface created by 3DRap to customize the signal of each pedal to your liking.
Is it possible to connect the GGkit directly to the console?
No, the GGkit works on the console through the steering wheel base with which it interfaces since the control unit developed by 3DRap emulates the signals of the native pedals (e.g. Logitech G923 / Thrustmaster T300); a connector is provided in the kit to ensure compatibility with the respective flying bases.
Is the support base included in addition to the modification for the pedals or is it possible to mount it on the old Logitech base when purchasing the GGkit?
By purchasing the pedals it is possible to mount them individually using the arrangements offered (see “Size and adjustment” section of the user manual: https://www.3drap.it/downloads/files/logikit/logikit-user-manual.pdf) or it is possible to assemble them on the 3DRap GT base which can be purchased separately: https://www.3drap.it/product/logikit-power-up-your-logitech-pedals-logitech-bases-thrustmaster-base-gt-pc-ps4-ps5-xbox/
Do I have to send all the pedalboard pieces to use the 3DRap assembly service?
Yes, it is absolutely necessary to send all the components that are part of the factory pedalboard; 3DRap assumes no responsibility to complete assembly without the necessary components.
Does the GGkit USB cable need to be connected even if I use the Kit on console?
Yes, it is necessary to connect the USB cable to power the GGKit control unit even when using the Kit on the console; it is preferable that the USB sockets of GGkit and the flying base share the same power supply.
What happens in case of return?
In case of return, it will be necessary to send the kit disassembled from the pedals or bear the costs of disassembly (equal to assembly) and shipping of the disassembled pedals.
Policy on possible assembly carried out by 3DRap
3DRap does not assume the burden and responsibility of preserving and storing the components removed from the original pedals. The components can only be returned to the sender upon explicit request during the product purchase phase.

First of all, the customer service is one of, if not, the best I’ve ever dealt with! Even before my purchase Davide was responsive and willing to answer all of my questions. The option to even purchase both the Logitech and Thrustmaster versions of this kit wasn’t a thing until after I asked. This little gesture helped me gain the confidence that I’d have the support I needed post-purchase.
Fast forward to now. I’ve waited a couple of weeks after arrival to write this review to get a good feel for the kit and put it through its paces. What drew me to this kit over a new pedal set was the clutch actuation. I mean… I already own the pedals, and for a minimal extra cost and some elbow grease I can have a feeling similar to more expensive sets for 1/5th of the price? Oh yeah, and it has an awesome load cell setup too. All of the engineering is just smart, designing around the original parts. Even the throttle elastomer gives the pedal a better feel – I switched back to the original spring with this elastomer so that it would be more lifelike and less “springy”, so to speak. Beyond that the new levels of adjustment are insane. I spent hours disassembling, reassembling with different options and tweaking pedal angles. And the hall effect sensors (goodbye potentiometers!), native USB (on PC – no need for a Bodnar cable), PC software adjustments… the list of awesome just goes on and on. Yes, they even work inverted like a street car.
I admit the kit wasn’t perfect when I first got it, but my conversations with Davide not only gave me insights into what they were working on but also let me provide real world feedback. I am confident that any new kit produced today will be much better and relatively trouble free due to these improvements – this is a benefit that a company this size has over many of the others out there. Because they engineer and produce their own parts in-house, they can move quickly and deploy them with minimal delay. What other company can do something like that?
All this is to say that the kit is a great value and to rest assured you won’t be left out to dry if you have any issues. 3DRap listens to your feedback and will get back to you in a timely manner. If you have a Logitech setup and a sturdy rig, you owe it to yourself to get this upgrade.

I’ve bought the Logikit to replace the old potentiometers of my G29, which definitely broke down after 3 years and many many cleaning.
The kit is presented in a well arranged box with all items easily identificable. If you have chosen the option “build myself” instead of sending the pedals to 3Drap for assembly, you might be careful as assembly instructions indicated on the manual may differ a bit from the videos (still available as QRcode in the box), surely do to components update. But if you are handy there should be no issue at all, and if any you can count on the great support provided by the 3Drap team.
As for the in-game setup : if you play online on console like me (GT7, ACC), you should carefuly adjust the min and max stroke of brake and throttle pedals in the game options, as you will realize that the feelings are far different from the old potentiometers setup : the brake has really little stroke due to the load cell sensor, it might take some time to get use to it : you really need to slam the pedal as hard as you can during hard braking, and dosing the brakes for trail braking and degressive braking might be tricky at first ! You will need some laps to reset your muscle memory.
But for sure the feelings are great, and the Logikit is definitely the best low cost option to overhaul your G29 pedals with top level components and technology !
Keep going 3Drap !

I am very happy with the upgrade, it was definitely worth it.
The installation is really not difficult in conjunction with the video.
Even if a few parts in the video are different, you can manage very well with it.
I personally found it more difficult to remove the old electronics.
The load cell works wonderfully and the accelerator pedal also offers a better feel.
A clear recommendation for the price
