The 3DRap Squadra Corse drivers at the 5th race of the “ARA Porsche Cup” Championship

The 3DRap Squadra Corse team at the 5th round of the ARA Porsche Cup Championship: 8 races, 60 drivers, and still many points available that could overturn the Championship standings which will end on the most feared track: the green hell of the Nurburgring.

ARA Porsche Cup Championship

The Porsche 911 Cup car has become one of the most formidable machines on iRacing since its debut in 2017. Since 2019, the legendary sports car has been featured in the Porsche Tag Heuer eSports Super Cup, the most competitive road series on iRacing. Now a 9-round, 18-race championship returns to the Apex Racing League for season two. Drivers will have access to the Apex Racing Academy for the season, having access to setups developed by Multiple PESC Race Winner, Kevin Ellis Jr, one of the top drivers on iRacing.

The matches will feature 2 races, one of 20 minutes and another of 30 minutes, with an inverted grid. The 9 rounds will follow the official series calendar and all drivers will have a title to fight for, with an amateur championship and teams title to be decided alongside the overall drivers championship.

3DRap Squadra Corse Team

The newcomers to 3DRap Squadra Corse immediately started their engines. Alessio Pasquali and Matteo Stromieri, winners of the second edition of the 3DRap Scouting Event Blind Edition 2023, with the veteran Daniel Zanon, were in fact protagonists of the 5th race of the “ARA Porsche Cup” Championship, promoted by Apex on the iRacing platform, and reached the 7th edition.

Ngasa and Viri of 3DRap to support the pilots

After the competition of April 14th in Spa, last Friday April 21st, on board a bad and certainly not very docile Porsche 992, a car used in the iRacing world championship, the drivers of the 3DRap Squadra Corse team took to the track in Sebring and have shown their talent, with the support of peripherals signed 3DRap.

The “Ngasa” pedal set, which undoubtedly improves the driving performance and the level of realism of the virtual races, and which, by popular demand, will be accessible throughout the summer in the simulation center on the Franciacorta circuit in the marquee set up by D2D of Brescia. The “Viri” dashboard, everything a driver needs to keep his eyes on the track and have any car signal under control.

The classification of the 3DRap team after the 5th race

At the halfway point of the competition, which includes 8 events in all, in a mix of endurance races and sprint races, we find Alessio Pasquali in second position in the category, detached by a handful of points from his teammates Matteo Stromieri and Daniel Zanon, respectively 3rd and 4th place.

There are still many points available

A championship, the “ARA Porsche Cup”, which is proving to be full of surprises. 60 pilots, divided into 3 categories, who challenge each other to the sound of counters to obtain the best result. And there are still many points available that could reshuffle the cards and overturn the current situation: in fact, there are still complex tracks waiting for the drivers such as Le Mans, Silverstone and the most feared, the green hell of the Nurburgring which will close the championship.
